Thirty Seconds To Mars are launching a new video project called A Day In The Life Of America and they’re looking for fans to be involved.
The group has explained on the project’s website that their aim is to tell the story of a single day in America. “This Tuesday, the 4th of July, we are filming a massive portrait of America, capturing a single day in the life of this beautiful country in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico,” the post begins. “It’s an incredible opportunity to document the USA during a very important time in our country. And we need your help.”
The post goes on to explain that they’re looking for fans to send in footage of themselves answering a series of questions. But of course, this is just for Americans, right? The rest of the world doesn’t to join in on any of this fun, do they?
Well, that’s where you’re (thankfully) wrong!
“For those of you outside the USA, you can participate too,” the post says. “Send your thoughts on America and the American dream to ThirtySecondsToMars.us.”
The only question that remains is, what exactly are Thirty Seconds To Mars doing? Is this set to be part of a new music video, something to do with their forthcoming album, or just an entirely seperate project in general? At this stage, only time will tell, but if you want to be involved, you’ve got until midnight of July 4th to participate, (which will be 2pm AEST on July 5th for us Aussies!)
