2007 was a simpler time. You talked to your friends over BEBO or MySpace, Pete Wentz was the king of the scene, and most importantly of all we were blessed with the masterpiece of an album So Wrong, It’s Right by All Time Low. That’s right; believe it or not today is the 10th anniversary of the release of So Wrong, It’s Right– the album that brought us the seminal pop-punk classic Dear Maria, Count Me In and the lyrics you used to scrawl all over your pencil case in the form of Remembering Sunday.
We’re taking a look back at seven other iconic things that happened in 2007, that are nowhere near as iconic as All Time Low releasing So Wrong, It’s Right. This is a finalised list, and we won’t be entering in to a debate about it. Thanks.
1. Ryan Ross lost The Rose Vest™
An international disaster, and frankly we aren’t certain why there’s no official international day of mourning to recognise the loss of The Rose Vest™. The rose vest is a huge part of Panic! at the Disco folklore, and was famously lost during a tour of Australia and New Zealand. An iconic moment. But not as iconic as the release of So Wrong, It’s Right.
2. Shrek the Third was released in cinemas
The sequel of the sequel. The third Shrek film. Honestly, just super iconic and a moment of movie making history. But not as iconic as All Time Low’s album So Wrong, It’s Right, which was also released in 2007.
3. My Chemical Romance were performing as The Black Parade
Back in 2007, My Chemical Romance were out here touring the world as their alter-ego The Black Parade. This was a natural extension of the narrative of their concept album The Black Parade, and meant we got a full theatrical show complete with costuming, makeup and props. They officially killed off The Black Parade at their show in Mexico in October of 2007, which was an iconic moment, but still not as iconic as the release of So Wrong, It’s Right by All Time Low.
4. Apple launched the first iPhone
Hey friends, I lost my blackberry. 😢 So if your trying to reach me, then text me on one of my three iPhones. 💋

Can you believe it’s only been 10 years since the first iPhone was launched in to the world? A revolutionary and life-changing moment, but it’s no Vegas by All Time Low, so.
5. The final Harry Potter book was released
We were all blessed with the final instalment in the Harry Potter series in 2007. A truly iconic moment, but because we all know that the best book in the series is The Prisoner of Azkaban, this is a less iconic 2007 moment than getting to listen to Six Feet Under The Stars.
6. Britney Spears shaved her head
We aren’t here to make light of mental health problems. But this was an iconic moment which lead to a spectacular rebirth of Britney in the years following. But not as iconic as the release of All Time Low’s debut full length album So Wrong, It’s Right.
7. Pete Wentz looked like this
The closest thing we have as a contender for the most iconic thing to happen in 2007. But alas, the title is still held on to by the release of So Wrong, It’s Right by All Time Low. Sorry Pete.
Get nostalgic and listen to the whole album immediately, and get Poppin’ Champagne because this masterpiece is officially 10 YEARS OLD:
