It’s been a quiet couple of years for The All-American Rejects, with their last record Kids In The Street coming out back in March of 2012. Well, get your ears ready, because those handsome boys from Oklahoma have decided to make a comeback with two, count ’em, two brand new singles.
The group’s last single to be released was ‘There’s A Place’ in 2015, from the soundtrack to the film Miss You Already, which featured an acting role from the group’s singer Tyson Ritter. Before that though, the group hadn’t really released a whole lot, despite their Kids In The Street album getting some pretty amazing reviews.
With the group taking some time off, but continuing to tour, fans were wondering when they were coming back with new music. Last year though, Tyson Ritter took to Twitter to announce an EP was in the works for a 2017 release, and now with the release of two new songs, it looks like this has grown into an album instead.
As Alternative Press reports, the new tracks, ‘Sweat’, and ‘Close Your Eyes’, are the first taste of the group’s upcoming fifth studio album, which is due for release later this year. The group are definitely up to old tricks with these brilliant new tracks, so if you’ve been hanging out for more of The All-American Rejects, check out the new tracks below.
