Dashboard Confessional have announced their first Aussie tour in five years, with a small run of dates for September, which will see them bring their unique brand of alternative emo to countless adoring Aussie fans.
Dashboard Confessional began as a solo side-project for Further Seems Forever frontman Chris Carraba back in 1999, but soon transformed into a fully-formed band as time went on. With a number of brilliant albums under their belt, Dashboard Confessional went on hiatus for a while at the start of this decade, but it didn’t stop them coming back to Australia in 2012.
Now, five years later, the group are set to return to our country for a run of dates which will see them hit up Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney in September.
Carraba’s songwriting has a way to resonate with fans thanks to their brutal honestly and fearless emotion, so if you’re looking for a night to scream out some of the best emo lyrics ever put to record, the you won’t want to miss Dashboard Confessional when they come our way in September.
