New Fall Out Boy music could be on the horizon far sooner than expected! It feels like only yesterday we were blessed with a brand new single in the form of The Last of the Real Ones, but all signs are pointing towards an upcoming new single release.

Photos have started popping up on instagram of a dance team in traditional Dia de los Muertos outfits, claiming to have been filming a music video for Fall Out Boy. Adding to the proof that this is a very real thing that has happened, Pete Wentz makes a sneaky appearance in one of the photos.

Take a look at the photos from the video shoot below:

Met Pete Wentz last night and was thankful to shoot a music video with fall out boy❤️😁

While we don’t have any official word on this, all signs are pointing towards a new Fall Out Boy music video coming out fairly soon. Their North American tour with Blackbear and Jaden Smith is kicking off on the 20th of October. Could they be planning to launch the tour with a brand new single?

Another theory is that the single will be dropping on November 2nd, given the makeup and costuming in Dia de los Muertos theme. Could Fall Out Boy be planning on releasing a single on the date that Day of the Dead is celebrated in Mexico, and other central and south American countries? We’ll have to wait to find out.

In other exciting Fall Out Boy news, the band have announced that they’re releasing purple, light-up, bluetooth fidget spinners as merch tomorrow at 1pm ET.

This is following a suggestion from yours truly to Pete Wentz earlier this year:
