As we all prepare to bid a (possibly tearful) farewell to Blurryface, all-round good guys Twenty One Pilots are planning an event to celebrate their fans. Ahead of the bands’ triumphant return to their hometown of Columbus, Ohio this week for Tour de Columbus, Twenty One Pilots is hosting an art show full of works created by the clique.
The art gallery is happening this Friday, and is going to feature Twenty One Pilots art made by members of the Twenty One Pilots fanbase. The event is free to attend, but you need to RSVP. Following the art gallery, the band is screening the previously unseen Live in Oakland set on the big screen!
If, like us, you can’t actually make it to Columbus for what is set to be the event of the season- fear not! The band will be livestreaming the entire thing from 7pm Eastern Standard Time (that’s 10am Australian Eastern Time).
This isn’t the first time that Twenty One Pilots have gone out of their way to celebrate the art that their fanbase has created. Last year, the band bought out all the advertising space in a prominent London tube station ahead of their sold out shows in town, in order to showcase the art of their fans with the hashtag #YØURPLATFØRM.
